Grants For Schools-Touch Tank
Grants for Schools
The contributors of Touch Tank strive to provide practical grant writing information. Grant funding is an incredible opportunity to advance the educational and environmental mission of your school or educational center. Touch Tank will continue to search for funding in support of the Environment, Science and Hands on Learning and report on grants for schools and other education centers that will allow you and your students to improve science education.
Environmental Nonprofit
Touch Tanks for Kids is a Maine based environmental nonprofit that aims to transform marine life education in classrooms around the country. They offer children and teachers innovative development options every day, putting many people in touch with fish and other marine wildlife that they have only heard about. Partners of Touch Tanks for Kids have found support from organizations that include Newman Own and The Stephen and Tabitha King Foundation while Toshiba, Toyota and other corporate funders understand that providing funds in supports of science will help business.
Educational Programs
In order to create more awareness and action in support of the marine environment, Touch Tanks for Kids offers grants for schools in support of educators who want to implement a touch tank into their lessons plans. Presently the 501 c (3) company has grants available for educational programs with a desire to bring hands on science to their community. Schools, Children’s Museums, Zoos, Aquariums, Nature Centers and other educational programs have benefited from the Touch Tanks for Kids Grants for Schools Program.

I am working on introducing a unique assessment and individualized learning curriculum that is highly unique.
We are working with not for profit education centers, faith based organizations and schools. I am looking for a process to help these institutions receive grants. I am looking for researchers and writers or a turn key program. Does anyone have a suggestion?
